Re: Good TV Sci Fi Shows?!

Good scifi plots are difficult to write and even harder to sell, because good scifi needs to deal in revolutionary ideas, controversial, and either philosophically or sociologically challenging. If scifi doesn't have those elements its just soap opera with blinky lights. I don't care about super ac...

I rest my case.

(later episodes jazzed up the opening music and dropped the God awful lyrics, but at the expense of women frolicking around for no reason)

beats me wrote: Your glove idea would need a kill switch because your hands are probably the least stationary part of your body when performing and you would be triggering shit the entire performance if it was always on. And I think there are MIDI gloves out there.

A humble winner. Surely no better way to antagonize the Americans, you sly dog.

Re: Will public protests even be possible anymore in the future?

Would be vastly amusing if some (peaceful) activist groups get their hands on some of these things and use them to harass corporations that do bad shit from the comfort of their own homes.

Can't wait to see the Rainbow Pepper Spray Copter in action.

Re: FIFA World Cup

Oh, dear... England, you make me so miserable. It's like "All, right; one all isn't that bad - now we just have to beat Costa Rica, and trust Italy to beat Uruguay. Now where's that Louis Sua... Bugger." I'll have to rely on Argentina and the Netherlands now. I mean, I really want a complete outsid...

Re: FIFA World Cup

From the racket of honking car horns and shouting on the streets Monday night, you'd have thought Germany have already won tournament.

It was a solid thrashing though.

As for England, at least they looked like they were trying. Last time round was just an embarrassing display of apathy.

I’m 42 and going with my parents so I’m not exactly looking for mind bending nightlife. I’m more looking for centers of history, culture, architecture, and art. Wouldn’t mind at all meeting up with some forum members or having a crazy night, but I’m not going to be sorely disappointed if it doesn’t...
