Re: A strictly English speaker in Europe

I picture Europeans in general being a little more serious than Americans, but also reach a level of silliness that we don’t. Every country is nuts in it's own way. Italians are usually good fun (although I'm mainly going by the particularly mental ones who I met in London). Don't get expect to mee...

at least drop in for a beer :x
You should all come here. It's a public holiday today and I'm having a beer by the river, while people are dancing to Y M C A, as i write. You don't get that in trendy London or Berlin.

Re: A strictly English speaker in Europe

I've been in Germany for 3 months now, and I'm not much further than "ein Bier, bitte". I actually know quite a few words now, but my brain doesn't seem to be able to process in conversation. Far too often "sprechen Sie Englisch?" just pops out before I can stop myself.   :...

Re: How do you play live with many projects? (fast switch?)

Multiple Computers! Sorry, I can't be more help. Not sure there's a really good way round it. Put everything in one project, or suffer loading times on stage. You could try to do something with a hardware (or even a real) instrument, a simple groovebox, looper pedal, some chat or something to try an...

Re: "Douche" is a insult girls use

I want to bring to everyone's attention that if you are a male who uses the word "douche" as an insult ur either a feminized nerd or fully homosexual. I wonder, how would a man even know what a douche is? Ate least, how is it that a man identifies with "douches" so much that he think it makes for a...

Re: Will the real Warp please stand up

Also, for any of you with lots of warped audio, how do you organized your library? I had originally thought that the .asd contained all the up to date info but my experience is telling me that the warping info is inside the .als file. I think I'd much rather browse a directory of samples than brows...

Re: If Facebook went poof bye bye

That reminded me of a couple times where I've read someone saying like 'I wish there was a 'like' button for that post'... Can't you just say you like the fucking post? Or is everything irrelevant unless it has a meter on it? (aka a social cue for people to choose which way to voice their opinion o...

Re: White House Climate Change Report....

On the topic of climate change, I think we are to a point where our minds are best invested in bracing ourselves for it by new technologies and concepts catered towards making life live able in the places most affected. Ah yes. Adaption. Do you mean adaption plan A, with long term international str...

Re: White House Climate Change Report....

The result of increasing space junk is simple = more collisions will result in dozens of vital communication and GPS satellites being destroyed. What does this mean for humanity? We'd lose our best tools for monitoring the planet and give idiot bloggers another excuse to add to a long line of bulls...

Re: Harvesting the blood of the young

Amazing what the prospect of eternal youth can do to one's mind.

At least one of us is being corrupted here. Who was in the right before? Who cares?

Give me blood.

Blood, blood, blood. (And piss and shit.)*

Re: casual sex with musicians: the Science!

What about speed dating? Then you can just ask if they know how to use a turn signal and if they do, do they use it? Ironically, I foresee a non-desperate asian milf eager to jump on a white hot rod in your future. Or we're just sharing browser history. Yep. When you only have two or three minutes ...
