Re: Extremely easy question......

Funny, just as I went back to look I figured exactly that out. Still would b nice to do it easier than that, sort of like impulse where u just highlight the pad to delete it.Thanx .

Extremely easy question......

But I can't seem to figure it out!!! If I load an empty simpler( in a track) and drag a sample in it, how can I delete that same sample out of it(same simpler). I know I can just drag a new simpler in to reset it to "empty", but is there a way without having to do that.

DEALING WITH DELAY WHILE ARRANGING.....

Hi all, Let's say I have a clip as a bassline/percussion(midi) or any sound for that matter and I have a delay on it, then I take that clip and arrange it in the arrangement view. My problem is that the delay doesn't start properly or lags and eveything sounds funny!! till the delay catches up... Ho...

BASIC QUESTION...............

Hi all, I like to use Battery 3 for my drums, but I can't seem to find a way to add a stereo field/spread to my sounds. I'm talking about the effect like the " spread" knob in simpler. If I can't do it in Battery is their any vst's or native ableton effects that can simulate this ? Hope this makes s...

Re: Do Happy people make Crappy music?

Take it easy !!.There's rather nothing vain about this guy. He has been sending me some great information about music production for 2 years now. And all I did was buy his very reasonably priced tutorials. He doesn't have to spend his time writing blogs about stuff that inevitably helps us, but he d...

Re: ABLETON AND PRODUCING

Thanx for some great feedback. I have to agree with you all that the session view is so beneficial in alot of ways. I spent last night forcing myself to use the arrange view and like thomas said it get's cluttered pretty fast, for me anyways. But hey, whatever works for you!

ABLETON AND PRODUCING

Ok, just a real basic question. Strictly for producing tracks, do most of you generally use the session view or the arrangement view. I'm sure some may use both, but generally speaking what do you use.I ask because i met with a producer and he strictly uses the arrangement view for production purpos...
