Follow up question - are the padkontrol pads the same as the microcontrol (same size, same response etc)? In the market for a now drum controller after hocking my old ...

m4l should be the end to the feature request forum. I think it's worth the investment to use what the community will come up with (and will be no doubt amazing). Have been holding off buying reaktor for a year because of this announcement. Can't wait!

I'm guessing biggest update will be having the launchpad supported, maybe os10.6/windows7 official support too. maybe a few bugs fixed. Probably still no m4ljimyson wrote:Saw in an article that the Launchpad is shipping with Live Lite 8.0.6. I'd imagine we'd be getting an update soon.

Try setting your clips with a 2 bar count in before the preroll/loop instead of 1 and it's might be more intuitive for launching clips.
Or legato mode?

Re: APC or Launch Pad?
Launch Pad - it has all the bits from the APC I wanted. Very glad I cancelled my preorder (it was taking to long to arrive in my local Australian store!). Launchpad (x2 or 3) FTW! might get a LPD8 to go with it

Interesting feedback - thanks mate!
Windows 7's performance with Live will be a key factor in myself getting a another new Apple or switching to Windows at the end of this year.
Is anyone else use this combo at the moment, how do your results compare?

Resizable Grid on Drum Racks
Let us change the 'active grid' size for drum racks so users of non mpc style 4x4 drum pads can get the most out of them. Either globally in the preferences menu, or on each drum rack individually. For example for an mpc500 let us make the grid 4x3 instead of 4x4. For a novation sl let us make it 1x...

The manual alone was totally worth the price of the Suite.
Getting the .pdf printed and spiral bound cost me $30 USD.
