This must be asked quite often... However, even simply checking out the step sequencer stuff alone, I am very impressed with max 4 live. If I don't even plan on learning max (at least not yet), do you all think it would be worth it all to get it simply for what modules already have been made for m4l...

I have the controls on my novation zero sl mapped to, say, the looper plug, set to a knob, and I can't for some reason have it reach "0". it always goes to 0.25 or -0.25... etc. not exactly, but you get the idea. I must agree. I love live and migrated actually from mackie tracktion 3. And to be honest, it was a bit painful. All I use is arrange mode, and I think that a LOT could be learned from the tracktion interface. Seriously. Hell, in the VERY LEAST, give me a legit mousescroll zoom damn it. Ffs. :) Love...

This may be ultra basic but I am in arrange mode and tried to record further synth changes with my novation sl keyboard... Not working. I already laid down my notes and have "ovr" on, but it doesn't record the knob changes! Help?

In my opinion live is so far ahead that they simply got ahead of themselves, and now are working on solidifying how far out there they have gone. That to me is a beautiful thing.

I think it is weird how to create a project folder. I keep forgetting how to do it. I think its right clicking on the folder up arrow or something. Live should make it easier on us someday I hope
