Last night multiple launches, running looper and minimonsta, and vocals. For hours. Also with 30 min breaks. Its running flawlessly. With pcr50/novation remotesl zero

Okay just for the record I've discovered 8.0.8 the best version. Zero crashes. Sorry, but it can handle it

Not to mention I was running it on my earlier eeepc, with even less cpu... Hmmmm?

interesting, since the cpu level remains under 15% during all of this.

hey all, i just picked up a new eeepc with the intel atom chip... runs great. having huge issues in live, im really unsure of what to do at this point, and have a live performance coming up this thursday. i load live, it seems fine, great. now, if i have my edirol pcr, novation zero sl, and behringe...

dude 8.1.1 was giving me issues, PC... just be cAREFUL and dont expect anything stable :/

i personally read the manual on a particular synth- i personally stick to the gforce retro synths. keep your arsenal down to very minimum. Next. Turn off all effects and envelopes. Learn ADSR- very simple especially if you understand how the envelope will visually look. next, go with one oscillator....

wow- just finished a track. about to export, just split a clip and pressed delete, and bam gone. reloaded, and it crashed live every time i tried, even after a reboot. gone!

so..... i am so ready to help with any errors. what do i do to get involved?

just launched 8.1.1 and it simply had a runtime error - all i did was play imposcar with boogex on the chain, and change a bit of automation as i was recording.

interesting. i had just updated my live on my little laptop-- having awful cpu overload issues, to the point where i cant even exit windows, or access task mgr. all i did was throw on my behringer audio interface and voxengo voxformer, and gsi gs-201 tape delay, and the cpu meter keeps going to "136...

i use the nativekontrol pack for live, i can easily mute, arm, etc with a flick of a pad. very very useful. there also is this, which just came out, a freaking amazing step seq for live... unbelievably sweet, at least for me. i can now make beats on the fly for a live improv show... http://beatwise....

as far as i know it can be done. check out nativekontrol for live... far as i know there is a grid interface for it.

allow me to correct myself - i want the bottom row of "pots" to operate instead of the endless rotaries on the top... i may try to experiment with setting up a custom script, but not sure if it will give out the information to the LED's ...
