i'm also considering buying a new laptop. for the moment i have seen the sony vaio vgn-sz1m.sw dual core (1.66 mhz) 80 gb hd (5400 rpm), 13" or an asus with same specs but 12" and 100 gb hd booth are around 2000 $ and look fine working at home i would use a second (big) monitor... but still not 100%...

i will play only one hour and something, so i will not play all the set. i don't know exactly how much it took to build it up. it is a "medley" of different livesets i have played.
now i have made some tests and it takes almost an hour to load up, but once loaded it is stable.

hello, next week i have a gig. i have built a very long liveset taking material of other sets i made and putting it all together. the result is a set of 8/9 tracks and 620 scenes. the idea is that doing so i will be able to decide on stage what to play or not to play. i'm playing it at home and doin...

thank you all for your precious tips! i'm going to send a demo cd to myself and will keep the package closed. instead of sending massive amounts of demo cd i will more try to take personnaly contact with someone before... sounds silly but i didn't think about this possibility before :mrgreen: greeti...

as yesterday i was in doubt i have also sent an e-mail to suisa (swiss copyright association) and they answered this morning. they also say that i should send a copy of the cd to myself, and keep it just in case... as you say, the fact that if they find the material interesting they will contact me ...
