i'm also considering buying a new laptop. for the moment i have seen the sony vaio vgn-sz1m.sw dual core (1.66 mhz) 80 gb hd (5400 rpm), 13" or an asus with same specs but 12" and 100 gb hd booth are around 2000 $ and look fine working at home i would use a second (big) monitor... but still not 100%...

i will definitely go for reaktor 5
due to the huge possibilities...

i wanto to change my m-audio in the next times.

i will play only one hour and something, so i will not play all the set. i don't know exactly how much it took to build it up. it is a "medley" of different livesets i have played.
now i have made some tests and it takes almost an hour to load up, but once loaded it is stable.
