just one more question, 128 presets only... is that not a little limited?
can i edit the presets with an external editor? and store soundbanks on my computer and bulk them to the microkorg?

hi,
due to a gear exchange i'm going to receive a microkorg this evening.
what can you tell me about it?
is it any good for basses? pads?
and the programs? there are only 128 presets? am i right?
i will see by myself this evening but i just wanted to have some information before....

is the difference between these 2 synths worth the money?

i imagine that it depends on the use i will make of the synth...

In theory buying sample CD is not any different then hiring a session musician (s), it is opportunity to get world class material at reasonable price including all the rights to use it in production. It is fair, the artists get paid, the company too and you don`t get headache about any sample clear...

hi,

i have the possibility to buy an access virus 1 (the red one) from a friend.
is it still worth to buy this synth, or should i go for one of the last models?

and if yes, what would be (more or less) a good price for this synth?

thank you all for your suggestions, for the moment i think i will wait before buying cubase (wich is almost the only candidate...). it has lots of instruments and features that i think i will not use for the moment.... i will try to continue working with live for the next tracks and see... or ear wh...

i'm not sure on how i should describe the sound coming out.... it is maybe not just muddy.... it is like carton....

and have you also a tip on how i could solve this typical home studio issue?

another sequencer would help? or not at all?

no, not so much vocals here.... but i find my finished tracks on live really sound muddy and the sound is not clear and defined. when for exemple i try to record eveything straight from the mixer on soundforge the results are much better so i concluded that the algorithms used on other software coul...
