To understand nerve you need to use the demo for a bit, it just doesn't translate over videos/feature lists.

Quick and easy question, can you use launchpad the way its designed for with live 7?
I know it'll 'work' in the sense it'll work with any midi software, but will it work with a red box, LED feedback etc?

Yeah I got it, some nice samples come with it help balance the high price.
I'm finding it useful just as a reference tool in case I want to try something a bit different or need a starting point for settings or whatever.
Its a lovely item, thick paper great pictures.

Maybe its the cables and plug, try using balanced big jacks if your not already, other than that not sure what it could be. Mine are silent when on and nothings going to them.

You wont regret it, I really do love mine and nothing helps more than good monitors with a good sound, its so much more inspiring to work with.

In session copy in a track you love, warp it and leave it on a muted channel. Every so often drop it in, A/B between your groove and the track. To be honest though, just make the damn track. Even if it sucks. You learn a lot about writing tracks from finishing them, and if you never finish anything ...

I don't really know why I bounce guru, I've had it setup so Guru is on a midi channel and the 4 kicks route to a kick channel, 4 snares a snare channel, hats and perc likewise then the audio kick/snare/hat/perc channels go into a drum bus with a nice compresor on it.
