Glossy!

and then just give the screen a quick sanding over with 'Super Fine' Sandpaper to reduce some of the reflection. Avoid wirewool though! tends to take too much of the screen away with it.

Thanks! Im on Tiger 10.4.9 and Live 7 - is that any better? Is Leopard the issue? Could be - things seem to have got worse with 10.5 in terms of Reaktor crashes (tends to be more the non-Native Instruments Library sounds which crash Live), but it was already pretty bad in 10.4 anyway! I don't have ...

!?!?!!?! What?

Reaktor 5 (under OSX Leopard) is extremely UNstable in Live 7 (and Live 6, 5 etc)
If I need to get into Reaktor I have to switch into Logic Pro.

Losing Touch? Definately!

When I purchased my Logic 7 update (in Germany), I mistakenly thought Apple would swap my german manuals for english ones - just like Emagic would readily replace! I called Apple Support and was in contact with some really arrogant support guy "No, we don't replace manuals - you've got an English PD...

Native Instruments Compatibility also a problem!

Apart from the slowness of Live5 compared to Live4 - Live has major problems when using Reaktor as a plugin - if Live ever crashes it's often while opening or closing a Reaktor plugin window. I notice too, that when using Live my second CPU is not used! :(

Corrupted als

I had a corrupted Live 4 .als which Ableton were not able to fix - amazingly Live 5 managed to open the corrupted Live 4 set - so relieved!!! So maybe you will be able to open your corrupted (Live 5?) set in the forthcoming Live 6?!?! A cunning covert marketing strategy on the part of Ableton perhap...

Greyed out menus

This problem is still not fixed in 5.0.3 - usually happens after doing a "Save Live Set As...", happened A LOT in 4.1.4!!!! I found a workaround to get the menus back, by toggling the Audio Interface to "No Device" and then back to the audio interface. Do my save etc and then restart Live to get a c...

Drag&Drop of Audio / OMF Export / Limiter Plugin

So here goes - only been using Live a week, so forgive me if these functions ARE already there somewhere.... i) Drag&Drop support of audio files / aliases of audio files directly into the session view + Resolving of these aliases when saving the set as self-contained. ii) Render option as OMF file, ...
