Re: Analog Filter Frequency Envelope Problem
Perhaps not helpful to the discussion but I will drop my 2 cents: I have a few go to analog synth plug ins that I use mainly because they sound different. My solution when one of those synths underperforms for what I am trying to do is to switch to another synth. It's at a point where it is just a r...

Re: is it possible to set markers for a clip
vudoo you will find the clip method is the exact equivalent of what you want to do. it looks different on the surface, but it is exactly the same in terms of control. once you try it you will see what I mean.

Re: Omnisphere?
To add to the last comment, I've got questions about RMX too. Something about it seems like it would be hard to have true musical control. I rarely use premade loops because I always feel like they can cage or force the song in a particular direction. Is RMX somehow flexible enough to elevate loops ...

Re: Deep or Detroit House - Pads + Weird sounds
You are going to find its easy to find presets like this, and with some trial and error you will be making sounds like this in no time. By the way the 2nd track is dope. What makes #1 special is that it sounds like the pad has a filter envelope that is opening up when a note is triggered AND the pad...

Re: Omnisphere?
Omni is very good. I too was on the fence. You would think it is cheating, it has so much sheen and automatic whiz-boom-bang, but what I found is that you get past the flashy presents and start to find more understated presets that are just programmed really well and respond well to velocity and key...

Occasionally I go back for the granulator, which was a work of art. And a trick I do every time where I feed sspat into itself and manipulate the sspat path with mouse and keyboard (this makes the strangest digital glitches...its amazing).

Re: Happy with Live 9?
Very happy w/ the upgrade. I'm noticing little things, such as subtle changes to the midi editor that make it feel more exact. I couldn't point to something specific, it's just very inviting.

Re: M4L devices max out CPU meter!!!
From the beginning I have viewed M4L plugins as experimental and thus all bets are off regarding resource management. I still use them heavily but I find I stay a bit more sane when I bounce ideas to audio and remove M4L devices.

Hello folks -- a new track here:

It's synthpop. It's cheesy. If those two words grab you, I think you will like it!

Re: FM USING LFOS
Now you've got me interested in pushing those LFO tools harder! I never thought to push them to audio rate modulations. You're saying you can get up to 440hz or higher?
