Re: did you go to music school or are you a solid producer?

It's spelt s.k.o.o.l and I didn't know you were Finnish, I thought you Australian. Anyhow, I went to a performaning arts high school, didn't get the diploma, learnt to roll joints but the arty farty bits were good preparation for being on stage. Learnt preoducing engineering by reading stuff, pract...

Re: I just realized another amazing benefit of group tracks!

I just discovered that freezing tracks saved my life.
I thought freezing tracks was clicking the yellow squires.
Had so many problems with cpu overload haha.

But I'll try this in live 8 if this is out.

So, is it recommended to have the live libary (+ your own samples inside the live library) on an external drive? Or is that a different story? If i want to save a project I always do "save as" and create a folder, and "collect all and save" into that folder. Just to be save, and sometimes I backup/z...

I also had problems with this These days I just do (like muthfunka) Save As into a new made folder, then I go to preferences and configure my library folder @ the location where I just saved the project, then I do the 'Collect and Save'. Before clicking "collect and save" check you're preferences wh...

Rec. guitar: Cool Technique's to share?

Hey people I always double guitars left and right (Almost max left and right) A friend of mine adviced me to do 4 guitars , 2 guitars left 2 guitars right, but different pan setting for the spectrum and compress that and have little reverb on it and pan that also. I'd like to see more of this short ...

i think it gets better already, but i would say now there is a tiny bit too much bass, and as result it loses impact, it makes it softer, less punchy, more round. Just a little bit less and that would be perfect. I would try also to double the snare with something which makes less clack clack, and ...

hm well I think the problem is I have Izotope running on the Master chain
I think I should just render the track and open new project and have a izotope master pluging running on the track.

But still my question, would a good audio interface reduce cpu?

Huge CPU usage [KB37 Line 6 - MAC]

Hey people, I've got a KB37 Line6 midi-keyboard (with guitar & mic inputs) and I use - 2 instances of guitar rig 3.0 - 1 instance of amplitube - 2 synth plugins and - 2 audio channels for beats - some live 7 plugins (not many) My cpu on my mac is constantly hitting the 60% and makes noises sometimes...

I like this sound! I was actually amazed.

Are you going to perform this?

I found out you gave advice on my track (beats/breaks/metal)
(I've updated the sound now, checkit if u want).
I wish my track sounded this loud and aggressive hehe
