but seriously okkay..... retaining a groove is one thing and thats easy, but what about swing, and creating a groove. as much as I like Live and the mpc in tandem I would love to be able to create good swing with Live alone. any tips up your sleeves thata way?

have you thought of trying the panasonic toughbook, even though i have a macbook now the panasonic was the best laptop i've ever had in my life, I actualy had two of them they never broke, and I could hardly feel them in my bag. 12'screen, and with the battery and internal cd/dvdburner they still on...

completely free routing and bussing Sonar's got a lot going for it, but this isn't one of them. Can you route a track directly into another track, without a bus?
