Somebody start a political post- I'm scared I'm going to disappear in a blur of productivity! If the Iraqis had weapons of mass drum slicing, would we still have invaded? I would have, but only for beats not for oiL, and there would have been no loss of life. imagine: "give up the slicer Gerhard er...

probably not a good idea 1. does music made on your mpc sound different than music made in Live? 2. you usually don't bang out drums on the pads, have you tried grid and step composition on the mp? 3.do you ever throw your mp and some phones and hit the coffeeshop or book store and have that very mu...

dude I know 8O isn't it wonderful, i'm pissed off that the things on jamesters list are not in Live 7, people make mistakes and i believe the abes are makin a major one in that respect, it seems that they've kind of forgotten that the best feature about Live was Live itself they should imho have hea...

starting a happy campers union, it's free to sign up, and free to join.
this must be what content is.

dual screen support, and crossfading would be nice but if they put slicing in there you know they're going to put those things in eventualy. so, I'm tickled pink and trust me that's not easy to do :D

8O I know what's missing, where's the all the talk about the audio editing with this slicer?...............you can't have a sick slicer without sick audio editing, what about that front? What do you mean by audio editing? each slice is in a simpler or sampler (your choice apparently) and can have i...

you have to set warp markers manually... I just assumed there would be some sort of beat detection that would set warp markers more or less accurately... if there is no groove, then you can use 1/8th or 1/16th etc Then it maps every warp marker to a separate chain and simpler. I guess I also assume...

What remains to be seen is how well the slicer maps to the drum rack. My first attempts did not give results I am happy with. Could well be user error though... how were you going about the slicing, were you using 'slice by warpmarkers' or the other slice choice, and how complicated was the audio y...

Re: OT: kinda but.....

Do you know how many classic records, professional records, and timeless records were made with not much more than an mpc with 16-32megs of ram 8O it boggles the mind. Pretty short sighted statement ...... let's not forget the nice desks & outboard they were mastered with. woweee weee wow the only ...
