Re: How to route APC40 to-from Bome's MT?

I often have two or three "USB Audio Devices" to choose from. Plugging them into different USB ports or not plugging them all in can cause Live (and my other apps) to forget which one is which. Windows is at fault. I think it would be easier to reconnect confused USB devices in one app, Bome's MT, r...

How to route APC40 to-from Bome's MT? Solved.

I'd like to have Ableton 8 connect to the APC40 through Bome's MT. This is because the USB port assignments change depending on what devices I have attached. It would be simpler to go into Bome and change a setting than to track it down in software I'm running. Anybody able to do that? I've seen the...

Re: Should i use a mastering plugin for my live performace?

A limiter, for sure. You'd have to say a little more about what you consider mastering plugins to get more specific advice. One thing to remember about live performance is the hardware/sound system. A mix can sound great at home on monitors, but be terrible on a live system. The venue makes a big di...

Pitch Black,

I thoroughly enjoyed your video! For the first time, I now understand the difference between a DJ and a live performance of this genre...whatever one calls it.

I'm new to this stuff, although I've played music live for years. Thanks for the insight.

These are amazing! So many good ones, but one person really stands out:

djsynchro, you are a wonderfully creative person. My g/f wants you to father our children. It's fine with me.

Put it in that wasted space presently occupied by your wife/girlfriend/child/pet.

Re: Streamworks Audio Announces Release of SWA Complete Live 8

Chris Hawkins, I am disappointed too. I don't mind the player, it works fine here. But, I'd like to be able to skip the intro. :) The content is not as deep as I expected either. I have your Sonar 7 video, and it is more detailed and informative than this one for Live 8. I also think you slipped a l...

Re: How do you erase a clip on the APC40?

If I understand what I've read about the APC40, all its MIDI outputs are hard wired. You can change what they contol in your destination, but you can't change what it sends. Your software (DAW, VST, other hardware) has to allow MIDI mapping to its controls, and be able to assign a message received f...

Re: How do you erase a clip on the APC40?

Put some black electrical tape over it.

It worked for the "Check Engine" light in my car.

Re: Streamworks Audio Announces Release of SWA Complete Live 8

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. But the dl took forever! I have a 6mb cable connection, and the dl didn't get over around 200kB! But, there were no errors. The setup makes you install an Adobe player (not the standard Flash player), which seems to call home when run. Part of the piracy prote...

They don't send links, only a receipt.
