On my system (WinXP SP3), the first device shows as "USB Audio Device," the second as "USB Audio Device (2)," and so on. Only the first has no number. I have three devices, the APC40, USB EWI, and Korg nanoKontrol.

TekMonkee, What version of Live? I think you need 7.0.15 or higher, although the APC40 installation disk uses 7.0.13. On its opening screen it says it is a special version for use with the APC20. I'll confirm that. Not much info, but enough I guess. The APC40 is pretty simple and intuitive.

My friendly (and I mean, a friend) salesman at the local Guitar Center says they have three, and won't sell them until June 1. With a little luck, he'll be able to save one for me. But, my hopes are not that high. I am prepared to be disappointed for another month or so.

I found the problem. I was using Musiclab's MIDIoverLAN CP3 for the virtual port, and apparently it doesn't like Huskervu. I Installed MIDIYoke, and things are fine now.

I already had .NET 1,2, & 3 installed, so that wasn't part of the problem.

Well, I wouldn't roll back to SP2 just for one program. Huskervu is old, and doesn't seem to be updated or supported.
