Kore Soundpacks not working properly in Ableton Live

Kore Soundpacks not working properly in Ableton Live. I've applied all the recent updates from Native Instruments, and all is well in Kore 2 stand alone, Brainspawn Forte PE, and in Sonar PE 8.5.3. But when I use Kore 2 in Ableton Live 8, some of the Kore Soundpacks don't work. I haven't tested them...

Peripatetic,

Please submit this to Ableton Support. Maybe if enough of us tell them about it they will look at it.

Thanks.

Re: Playing a Multitrack General MIDI File In Live?

You might try playing the MIDI file in a GM module of some kind, just to hear how it should sound. You can then choose similar sounds in Live. I'm on Windows, so sometimes I use the built-in player (with Van Basco's player), or Cakewalk's TTS-1, or NI Bandstand (discontinued, but sounds good). Or, a...

Re: Finally a nice footswitch

I registered on their site and asked when it will be out. Here's what they said: "We will be announcing pricing and release date for the Softstep in April/May of 2010. Sorry to make you wait. You're on our mailing list so will be the first to know. The latest information on the product is kept updat...

Re: Finally a nice footswitch

I'm going to buy it as soon as it's released. It's small, light, has tremendous functionality...and at under $300 retail, it's worth it. I'm a wind controller player and can't be fiddling with mice, buttons and sliders while I'm playing. I have the FCB1010 and a bunch of other controllers, but they ...

Re: Help stop this behavior

Bome's Midi Translator allows you to filter MIDI events.

I'm new to Live...it doesn't allow you to filter MIDI events like Program Change?

I think you also may find a free MIDI filter. Do a search at KVR.

Good luck :)

Re: Plug a controller after launching live : it is not detected

Most of the software I use, maybe all of it, will not detect a USB device that it connected after the program is running. This includes Live, Sonar, Brainspawn Forte, Kore 2, any stand-alone synth, etc. It's not peculiar to Live, so I don't see any need to blame Ableton for behaving like other musi...

Re: Juno 106 editor

Sorry, no, I never tried it in Live. I was just pointing out that it is possible to automate a Juno 106.
