Re: Juno 106 editor

This won't be much help, but I built a console in C-Lab Notator (pre-Logic) years ago on my Atari. I was able to control all the Juno 106 parameters, so I'm pretty sure it would be possible to do in Live or any MIDI program today. Just to let you know, it is possible. :)

Re: So what is Live still missing to make it an amazing DAW?

jOop, I've set up filters in Bome and observed the data stream in Midi-Ox. The data isn't redundant, so I want it all. If I was seeing strings of duplicate data, a filter would help, but the values are discrete, so I want them all. The problem isn't the amount of data I send, the problem is Live's i...

Re: So what is Live still missing to make it an amazing DAW?

As a new user (started on Live 7), I am disappointed in Live's handling of MIDI data. The main reason I bought Live (now upgraded to 8 Suite) was to use it live with my EWI 4000s and EWI USB horns. Sadly, they produce so much MIDI data it chokes Live. I've reported it to Live's techs, and they admit...

Re: Video demo'ing MIDI problem w/ Guitar Rig 4 & Ableton

shtreimel, I'm sorry I have no help to offer, but I want to commend you for a great use of YouTube to present the problem. You video was very well done, and it sure demonstrated the issue you were asking about. What did you use to create the video? Nice work, and thanks for the good example of using...

The only title in this thread that got me to look at your photo was Tone Deft's "Perfect Tits." I think you should stick with that.

Pitch Black,

If you were serious about this, you would have made each anagram a separate post. Now THAT would be L337!

(Good idea, though).

This is based on volume, not content, right?

Re: My APC40 not stable enough for live use

It looks like you may have a MIDI loop in your system; some MIDI data is being routed back into your APC40. Check your Live set to see where all your MIDI data is coming from and going to. Using an "All ins" channel setting may cause this, so try to be very specific in each channel's MIDI in/out ass...

Re: Tutorial : Generative music in Live

I'm new to Live, and to generative music. Thanks for this tutorial!

I've been using some of HG Fortune's synths, but the sound quality of the Live instruments is much better.

I really appreciate having your examples to study, Angstrom.

Thanks!

Kore sound variations grid slow update in Live 8

Im using Kore 2 as a plugin in Live 8.0.4. When I choose any of the eight Sound Variation cells by clicking directly on it, or by using Kore's buttons, the sound changes and the screen updates as expected. But when I use the mouse, or Kore's knobs, to drag among cells, the sound seems to change alri...
