Re: OK ... I'll just wait and maybe upgrade later then

.... only to find out I can't buy Push later without buying another copy of the software. Where did you read that? If you Upgrade to Live 9 suite now, you can just buy Push for $599 online later on or just in the Retail store. I don't see the problem. When I was looking at my upgrade offers a coupl...

OK ... I'll just wait and maybe upgrade later then

I was keen to upgrade, but the 'special offer' to Suite8 owners is only valid for a week and only saves $100 dollars on software and hardware combined. For the meager saving you get the privilege of waiting 12-16 weeks for the hardware. So, I thought I'd just buy the L9 software first only to find o...

Re: Live 8 to Live 9 or Suite 9 upgrade prices

Last time I looked (can't access the sight right now). my best upgrade offer from Suite8 to Suite9 with Push was $800 or so. Does that seem right? It seems a bit pricey for a 'discounted rate'.

People who like the single window thing shouldn't know any difference ... much like all the other multi monitor capable programs they currently run on their single monitor systems.

Re: dual monitor support damnit!!!!!

Come on ... it's 2012. I've been using 3 monitors for 15 years. In any given session on Live the most repeated action is resizing windows. This seriously retards workflow. Honestly ... the arguments for not including multi monitor support are just bizarre. In an age where pretty much every pro studi...

Re: Live 9 Pricing

Despite the pricing mixup ... The more I look at the package, the better it looks. Sure it's a bit pricey but what's more important to me is the vibe I'm getting with regards this release. While the pricing mistake is a minor annoyance I'm more interested in the fact this is looking like a major mil...

Re: Live has had Dual Monitor support since version 8.

It's not a floating of the Mixer, Its like a floating window that controls the mixer, and receives control from the mixer. So ... no real multi monitor support? Not sure what the problem is with the basic concept. There are 3x23' monitors in my studio but when I'm working with live I'm constantly r...

Re: Poll : rate Live 9 . Vote now!

A bit OT ... if it had detatchable windows / dual monitor support i would've blindly dropped cash straight away, but there is really nothing there that interests me in any big way except maybe clip automation that earned a star .. 2 stars lets hope bitwig cuts the mustard I was surprised to find out...

Re: Poll : rate Live 9 . Vote now!

It seems to pull a lot together. Max integration, Push, much needed browser clean up, expanded sound library etc. Given the time they've taken between versions I'm hoping this one is tight from 9.0 on. Without a doubt this is the most interesting creative audio app on the planet. Push & M4L integrat...

Re: Live 9 Pricing

My upgrade price from L8Suite to L9Suite: US$299 ... while owners of previous and non-Suite versions) come in $200 cheaper ??? This makes no sense at all. Please clarify upgrade pricing schedules so they make sense and offer a fair deal to all current Live users. The current deal sucks ... (those wi...

Re: Live 9 Pricing

Is there going to be an updating price for live 8 standard and suite users that also purchase the Push controller? I'm also interested to know a L9 Suite upgrade + Push package pricing for L8 owners ... and by the way, this looks like a beautiful package; design, function, hardware, software. Push ...

Must admit they kind of lost me heading into Live 8. I still find Live 7 a more reliable program for mission critical situations. I play around with 8 but I work with 7.

Re: Question about Session Drums update.

Thanks for the replies. As I've already downloaded the only update I can see, I'll just install the update pack and see what happens.

Question about Session Drums update.

Years ago I installed Session Drums on my system but I don't know if I have the most up to date version. How can I tell?
