Re: Live 8 bug, have you noticed that?

Ableton did it... ...one more time, yeah it's like, I have gone hardware and used live just for recording for the last 2 years, then I sit down to work on stuff and in 5 min. I find the most newbie bug -and yes it has been like that with them a lot  they take multiple version to implement wel...

Re: Live 8 bug, have you noticed that?

thanks for confirming the bug.

amazing, to find that in live 8. Such bugs are easily found when quality testing.

I you use "distribute ranges equally", you are stuck with holes in your mapping.

Live 8 bug, have you noticed that?

I did set up a rack with velocity layers.

If I send a midi note with a velocity equal to the boundary of one of the layers the note is not heard.

ex: a midi note with value of 80 won't be heard if the zones are 1-80 for a layer 1, and 81-127 for the 2nd layer.

Re: Power failure while recording?

What OS are you using? I know Live uses temporary data so I wouldn't be surprised if some of your work is still there. What files are you looking at exactly? Your project files or the temporary data files I mentioned here? sorry, it's on XP. I haven't found any temp files, I looked in the dir speci...

Re: Is all of the APC 40 hate justified or just gear-head rants?

well, it takes some space but it'S only because I have so much cool hardware around... even for recording clips on the fly, I have to have it around, I tried going back but it's just so immediate, the build quality is there, it's going to last, so for the moment it's staying at the center of the com...

Re: Is Live Dead?

I am here since live4 and live8 is pretty satisfying... group tracks, vst parameters sorted, native compressor and limiter, the issues I had for years are pretty much solved. I would be happy if they fine tune it for years. But someday Live9 will appear, if they implement some scoring features (nota...

where you using the same mastering chain in both apps? or is it just a case of Logic having better mastering plugs?

A new track with some new (old) gear...

...it'S not that often that I can say that :)
