Havn't used SX for a while, but if I remember correctly; solo the part you want to export then wrap the said part with the left and right market thingies..... if all else fails you could always transfer the part you need into a new project.

A friend of mine (who is even more of a computer geek than I am) did loads of tests with Live and buffer sizes in an attempt to squeeze the last CPU drop out of his Centrino.... his findings were.... buffer size make no difference to to CPU usage at all.
