Dog - New Live Track

I have just remixed the track Dog by Thijs Geritz using Live 5.03. There are certain elements that I am not happy with.... any comments welcome.

The track can be found at

The MAudio Quattro, crap sound, cross channel bleeding and the thing got so hot that it could actualy cause a first degree burn if you touched it. Thankfully it stopped working thirteen months after purchase!

I would recommend that you avoid the MAudio Quattro no matter how cheap it is. I used one for about a year on the PC platform and was not happy There was bleed through on record and playback for all four channels (channels 3 and 4 bleeding into 1 and 2 and vice versa). I had constant crashes with Cu...

A great deal of medical research has gone into alcoholism and eating disorders, both are considered to be illnesses, perhaps with a genetic cause. It sounds like some of you are saying that certain illnesses are less worthy of medical attention than others. Perhaps George Best was a stupid bastard t...

I have been thinking of getting a Mac Mini (with a Superdrive) as an early Christmas present to myself.... just done a price check (in Italy) and discovered that once I add 512 MB of RAM, a keyboard and a mouse it will cost just over 1000 Euros.... hmmmm, a 17" iMac G5 costs 1300 Euro"s, 1450 Euro"s...

It"s one of the (many) tragedies of the human condition.... thinking there always has to be a "why".
Sometimes there is no why, there only is an is.

I have been using an Asus P4 3.02 laptop for over a year now. Although I usually use a MBox as the audio interface (for portability reasons), I have connected my MOTU 828 MKII to the laptop in the past using the internal 4 pin firewire interface (I was also chaining a firewire audio drive through th...

Re: ABLETON PRGRAMMERS:Please work your coding!!

I have a dual G5 and a 3.2 P4 both very fast machines EXCEPT WITH LIVE 5. The performance of your software is the worst of all music software I have experienced ++++++ your bugs became a tedious chore months ago and yet they are still there. Very dissapointed in this company which looked so promisi...

I"ve been thinking about Doepfer (modular) products to try and achieve some fat bass sounds and analogue leads also (I have promised myself that I will own some kind of modular synthesiser before I die). The 404 looked like a good rack product for live use as it could process external sounds and act...
