Re: From 2 to 4 GB of Ram. No difference. ???

How many tracks are we talking about? What bit- and samplerate? .m In this particular session, there are 26 active tracks. 40 total. I run an average of about 4 or 5 fx per track at 16bit 44100 sample rate. I know I could clean it up a little bit and that would help... But I feel like it really sho...

Re: From 2 to 4 GB of Ram. No difference. ???

Any other macbookers out there with this problem? Is a 5200 rpm hard drive simply just not enough for FX intensive electronic music production? I upgraded to the macbook so that I would not have any problems like this.

From 2 to 4 GB of Ram. No difference. ???

Recently upgraded my ram because I was running too many tracks and effects for 2gb to handle. Thought the extra two gigs would help, but I don't see a difference. Thanks in advance.

I tried the download from the link but my internet connection isn't that great. I'll try again later, thanks.

Another BPM question

I've chopped up some audio and have this loop made, just over two bars. How do I find the tempo of that loop?

Try turning the warp function off
That did the trick. :D I will have to look into warping a bit more. Thanks.

which format are your tracks in? Are they auto-warped correctly?

Best,

I'm guessing this is where the problem is. The tracks are in wav format. Maybe I should study up on warping, unless you wanna give me a quick rundown?

Live shows wrong BPM

For some reason, when I import my tracks into Live (v.8) it reads the wrong BPM. This is only happening with my tracks so what am I doing wrong?

Re: Recovering missing media files

You can change the directory that File Manager looks in. That could help. Also the directory where the project (Live Set) is saved will have a subfolder: \YourProject\Samples\Recorded maybe a peek in there would reveal a little more... Wow, ok I am very relieved right now. I thought I had it set to...

Re: Recovering missing media files

There should be a bar at the bottom of the Live's interface that will tell you to click on it to solve the problem. You can go to View and then select File Manager to get to the same place that bar will take you. Maybe I'm not doing something I should be in File Manager, but I tried auto searching ...

Recovering missing media files

I just tried to open my set and got the message "missing media files". There are 8 total but the 3 audio files are what I really need. Is there anything I can do to recover them?

thanks in advance
