It's definitely some kind of grain effect. I don't know of to many outside of Reaktor sorry... but the start/end point of samples (for example the vocal in the Ladytron remix) - i got pretty much the exact same effect with one of the user library plug ins... also some similar stuff with electronic ...

Sasha/Charlie may audio glitch ripping noise

hey all For most part of the day i have been trying achieve similar noise to charlie may /sasha's audio glitchy noise ripping thing So far i have tried beat repeat with a sample in simpler automating the start and end points of the sample but just cant seem to get the glitch right anybody any ideas ...

Ive been looking at getting a field recorder or an ipod touch
Does anyone have any experiance with either of these? What app would i need for the ipod or microphone

I just loaded in 6 omnisphere's and 4 Trillian's into a new project with them all turned on and the cpu meter was showing 10% which you would expect turned them all off cpu meter went down to 0%
obviously something is wrong with the set i'm working on
any suggestions?

Changed bit rate and sample rate also running latest driver from t.c electronics
nothing's changed
i even turned all plugins off and the cpu meter still sat at 20% :(
