Thanks. Yes, I'll be looking out for HD speed. I'd like an Athlon 64, but it's somewhat pricier than the Intel P4 3.0GHz, and the latter does pretty well in the benchmark test as far as I can tell. I've been very happy about my iBook 1.2 GHz, but it's just too slow to handle the hungrier VSTs, not to mention the Korg Legacy - especially with Live 4. Thanks for your replies. I've been using Logic Express, which is actually cheaper than Live. But I find the Logic UI a bit counter-intuitive.
