Re: Global record workflow trouble.

The proper term.

Sometimes you have an assistant doing the base editing or the mix, you supervise the process, check the quality, correct things, master, th...

Re: Moving ableton files from Mac to PC

Re: Ableton Interface SLOOOOWWWW

It's a Desktop but it has a dedicated GPU with 4GB. I wouldn't expect any less from a PC that you described as 'super fast' (although 4GB is a bit low...). Anyway, having a dedicated GPU doesn't prevent it from having an integrated one as well, as they come with pretty much all contemporary Intel p...

Actually, I find out that I need to click on the "RAM" button in the audio sample info at the bottom. I'm not sure why because this PC is a beast and I never had to do that with my shitty macbook pro.

If someone can explain why ... ? :)

Ableton Interface SLOOOOWWWW

Hi, Ok I've got a brand new PC that is super fast. HOWEVER, even on the simpliest ableton project, when there is long audio files in the arrangement view, depending on the zoom (when i'm zooming on the audio tracks), ableton window get very slugish, laggy, slow. The interface inside ableton live is ...

Ableton, audio files, large files, and dropbox smart sync

SSDs are fast. And they handles shocks better than their mechanical counterpars (HDD). But they are expensive. 512 SSD is nice, but you can't put that much audio data in it. So you can use online storage to ... store files. But then you need a lots of upload, download, upload, download. If you have ...
