Macro cannot be renamed to -blank-

Renaming a macro to nothing is all good and well until the saved rack is reloaded again. Once reloaded the macro takes on the previous name.

Probably not what you're looking for, but have you seen these? http://www.gikacoustics.com/gik_artpanel.html Also, if you're serious about creating a good recording/monitoring environment then I'd get the room treated properly first and then see what you can do about the rest of the aesthetics afte...

Yeah, I can imagine. I'll try a few and see where it goes. If anything we'll have Operator versions of DX7 sounds.

Re: DX7 Factory Banks for Operator?

just browsing through some dx7 patches. good news is that many of them don't employ more that 3 x 1 in series. But still.. many of them do.

good point.. didn't the DX7 have multiple breakpoint envelopes? or was that in FM7?
I think that was FM7.

Re: DX7 Factory Banks for Operator?

The trick here would be to convince Robert to terrorize Matthias Mayrock until we can send signals from one Operator to another. Operator 3? Oscillator E: the output signal of the carrier(s) of any chosen Operator. Given a few extra algorithms, we could reconstruct any FM sound and have infinite Op...

Re: DX7 Factory Banks for Operator?

that is impossible since Operator only has 4 operators, the DX7 has 6 operators.. Good point. I'm not very good with numbers above 5 RACK 2 operators together ??? Whether that will work or not depends on the algorithm Might be able to come close though, assuming many of the DX7 factory patches eith...

DX7 Factory Banks for Operator?

Hi All,

Just curious if anyone knows of any factory DX7 banks for Operator floating around out there. I'm asking because it's something I've been wanting to do for a while but never got around to. But if someone already did it then I guess it would be pointless.

thnx,

Re: Buchla Drum Racks for Live 7

I like how the website of the continuum fingerboard says that you can use between one and SIXTEEN fingers simulateously  Me thinks I'll need to grow more fingers to take full advantage of it. Mabye they could drop the price a bit for a 10 fingered version. But seriously it is a nice bit of kit...

Re: midiNES Editor for Live 6.0.9

Just a little update here: I was cleaning the studio out the other day and found my midiNES tucked away in a drawer. My overall thoughts were that while the midiNES can create some cool sounds, it didn't really offer anything that I couldn't do myself with some bitcrushing and my modular. So I threw...
