hardware: Dave Smith Evolver, iPad 2 (Touchable2/Lemur)

software: Live 9 Suite/Max4Live

both purchases made making music a lot more fun for me then before :)

got a iPad2 yesterday for relatively cheap and f*ck me, how could i live without it for that long o.O

just bought AKG´s K701 http://www.thomann.de/gb/akg_k701.htm they sound good out of the box (even though opinions may differ) and are supposed to get better after a break-in/burn-in period of 300+ hours i find them to be super comfortable and they are very analytical and clean sounding headphones. r...

looking good - compression wise i am pretty much equipped, but the Glue looks nice... slick little gui :)

they can sound a bit "bland" on their own compared to some 3rd party plug-ins which colour the sound more or are emulating analogue gear. but the fact that they are so light on the cpu and really start to shine when you combine several effects to create a "unique modular effect" makes them very very...

So if/when NI do add warping to Traktor, or if/when Ableton add a DJ interface to Live, only then are we talking nirvana! Traktor allready supports timestretching/keylocking - its not as sophisticated like lives warping/timestreching engine but it does work great for loops and thats all that counts...

^ not personally but i heard complaints about the somehow sketchy "DaRouter" software, that is needed to get those things running - the name alone puts me off i find all-in-one 2 or 4 deck dj-controllers far more straight forward and really enjoy mixing on them. really love my S4, but if the budged ...
