I had same problem while doing Sting - Desert Rose booleg remix. I just cutted Sting's vocals, EQed (just left the body) and used noise reduction with learning function (i used chorus clip without vocals for that)... If you are doing dance/house/trance mix, you can achieve some nice results.. btw, y...

The majority of my tunes are done in midi and then bounced down. I have to go through and name every clip though (for easy management :) )
