Some vsts will have a "configure" button which allows you to dictate which parameters are directly able to be automated. I can't speak for the Mastering suite itself, but I would imagine it will work, as automating th...

Re: Dr. Dre school of music and technology

I honestly have a hard time understanding if everyone in this thread is circlejerking themselves into next month or genuinely this jaded about a school of music. It's not like fucking Dre is going to be up there handing out syllabi come fall. It's his donation that puts his name on the school. Most...

Try giving things a hierarchy and letting some elements fall "back" in the mix so that the leads and things can stand out a bit more. Also I think the w...

Re: Interstellar

Zimmer driven sap. FWIW I felt like Zimmer gave a huuuuge homage to Phillip glass, if that makes you feel any better. I didn't think Zimmer did the music until I heard some huge "waaaaaaaaaaawwwwws" and then put it together with Chris Nolan as the director. As for the movie I thought it was great a...

On the other hand we try to leave as much freedom to users as long as they are not being offensive, abusive and are generally adhering to...

Re: I'm moving to Luxembourg

They raised their Prime subscription rate, charged my card without warning (do you know when a once a year charge hits?) Same thing happened to me. Would have been no big deal 99% of the time, but I had just had my rent payment ($2,200) auto-paid, and had just paid movers about $300 while I had jus...

What are the best online resources for production?

I am sick of being just ok at producing. Post your best online resources for not sucking, I am looking more for the technical side of production, not as much songwriting.

What do the pros know that I don't know?

Also any production specific forums you guys recommend?
