Re: is the tech killing technique?

I'm guessing that's what will happen to music. There will be a lot of 'fast-food music' available, but also be a lot of value placed on the deeper stuff, which might well become fancier than ever. Word, I am not even an old man, more like a young lad around here, but I totally agree. Hegel was righ...

Re: Time for a laugh!

Nick Swardson, Daniel Tosh, Jim Breuer

Nick's skit about pot brownies might be the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life.

More importantly, let's get it straight what comedians are shit:

Re: 5 count em 5 grammy nominations

of course there are tons of great artists that will never make it up there, but...i think they got a few things right, or pretty ok...for one, Adele really can sing, and imo is humble and deserved of winning, i heard a bit of her live performance there and it was good...not really a fan atall, but ...

Re: 5 count em 5 grammy nominations

So what I want to know is, does Chris Brown bring any element of originality to his song and dance or is he basically like a Michael Jackson/ Kanye wannabe hybrid. Da Fuq?? Kanye doesn't have shit for talent, and as far as I am concerned, Brown actually is a decent singer AND dancer. I'm not one on...

Re: Why is this forum more active on weekdays than on weekends

You do realize that the legalization of marijuana would most likely provide a large stimulus to the economy right? How many times do I have to say it? My problem is not with drugs in and of themselves. We could be talking about toenail clippers being illegal and I'd feel the same way. Until marijua...

Re: Why is this forum more active on weekdays than on weekends

You do realize that the legalization of marijuana would most likely provide a large stimulus to the economy right? In fact, with the amount of marijuana use in the U.S if it were to be taxed just as alcohol and tobacco are, it would provide over 6 billion dollars in annual revenue and create an enor...

Re: Why is this forum more active on weekdays than on weekends

so let's get this straight... Levi says if you're a stoner you're useless and because of you people can't afford happy meals... if you're a stoner... due to the fact that cops base they're entire careers and feed their families because they need to arrest stoners... because that cost lots of money....

Re: rendering tracks

Live just defaults to that tempo, if he has his setting in preferences so that it by default does NOT warp samples, then it doesn't matter where the project tempo is set, the sample will play back fine. So if he doesn't hit warp it will play at the correct tempo but will not be aligned with the proj...

(notice that my op was 100% neutral) one thing is interesting...didnt even have to put words, everyone knows exactly who that is, +1 to him for that being as 'new' an artist as he is... i dont care for his stuff myself , but anyone could learn something from his work ethic and self promo abilities....

Re: [Dubstep] Looking for a hug

Alright som, I'll bite. 1. I think your mix is fairly balanced, some of those high filtered parts sound a bit harsh to me. And it is kind of flat. It still sounds like it is compressed a lot, other than a few spikes in volume (which I would try to attenuate, but still try to make them sound powerful...
