Damn! That's so cool! Especially with PSPAudioware involved in the development of this app.

Re: OWC Mercury 6G or Mercury Extreme 3G SSD for MBP 17" 2010?

Great advice especially the battery life using the Data Doubler. Thanks to you both.
Yeah, after spending the whole night scouring and researching the net for this upgrade, looks like the 3G is my best bet.

Trevox, any heat issues using a mechanical drive with the Data Doubler?

OWC Mercury 6G or Mercury Extreme 3G SSD for MBP 17" 2010?

Thinking of getting a 240GB SSD for my MBP 17" Early 2010 in a couple of days. I'm going for the OWC SSD's since I will be also purchasing their Data Doubler. Which one though? Mercury EXTREME™ Pro 3G SSD 240GB http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/SSDMX240/ or Mercury Electra™ 6G...

Re: what would you say the best classic house sample packs are?

I do mostly classic soulful house productions. I can tell you that the first thing I would do is look for a real bass player and go from there. I would pay for a good session musician first than spending my money on some sample packs.

Re: How to prepare tracks with BPM variences for live sets?

Back in the day, tracks with 2 different tempos (starts out at the original BPM and slows down at the breakdown) were a Godsend especially for seamlessly going from a house set to a hiphop/rap/r&b set. I used to separate these from the other vinyl so I could easily whip them out if I wanted to slow ...

Re: Warping full tracks in ableton live is so damn boring

yea, it's shit. Thank you. It's good to use warp on short loops, it's great. But the whole thing to try to do DJ set with live, it's just so boring. It's like doing phisics homework back in school. I got some money finally, I don't know what to buy between s4, s2, serato or regular CDjs :D http://w...

Re: Animoog! IPad's finest...

Some other reviews mentioned the "no sound" problem I had using this app with the 1st gen iPad. Finally sussed it out by going to "Settings/General" and re-engaging "use side switch to" Lock Rotation. For some reason it remained on Mute even though I've been using the side switch for lock orientatio...

Re: Animoog! IPad's finest...

Doesn't work on my 1st gen iPad (no sound at all). Works well on my wife's iPad2. Hope they'll fix this soon. This app makes me wnat to purchase that Alesis Audiodock. Works fine on my 1st gen iPad using iOS 4.3.5... I upgraded to IOS5. It could be that then? Anybody else with a 1st gen iPad with I...

Re: MOTU 828 mkiii

Had my 828MK3 Hybrid for a year now. Got it connected to my 2010 MBP via FireWire. No crashes, no problems whatsoever using Logic Pro 9 and Live 8 on Snow Leopard. Awesome interface with lots a inputs/outputs.
