Used entirely with Ableton and M4L devices
Bass is Operator, lead synths as well...pad sound is Analog and the percussive noises are from granulator.
Cheers
Lovely remix!

Re: Autechre Exai

hmm, previewing it, it sounds A LOT like the last album, Oversteps. And while I liked Oversteps a lot, I was sort of hoping for a newer sound on this... will buy it though and check it out completely. I find it very different from Oversteps, in terms of the percentage of beat-orientated pieces. It'...

Re: Something fresh - Work in Progress

Nice work, I'm impressed by the evolution. (is the most recent track really from the first one you posted?) There is a really pleasant cohesion in the processing of all the sounds in the last bit of the track. The same kinds of soft edges, even with the gating effects, etc. Nice work! Thanks for th...

Re: Something fresh - Work in Progress

I missed the one that funken heard, but after reading his comment I think that the bass drum is still too "in yer face" for an ambient piece. IMO it's too "clicky". I would suggest using a bass drum that's deeper and softer (more muffled with less attack). In descriptive words, it needs to sound mo...

Re: Something fresh - Work in Progress

I liked it quite a bit but I found the drums/percs borderline distracting in that they seemed a bit too complicated and too dominant. It sort of took away from the chill-out factor a bit for me. I think if you toned them down a bit it would be a nice chill tune and I would listen to it late at nigh...
