Re: Wiimote/Glovepie/Nunchuck - How to "deadzone"?
regarding your edit: glovepie has native nunchuck support now, so afaik ppjoy is no longer needed. The stick works fine, it's just that sometimes it doesn't center exactly and new midi data of course tells Live to stop playing back already recorded automation data for that cc.

Re: Wiimote/Glovepie/Nunchuck - How to "deadzone"?
Many thanks for your extensive reply! I only need a deadzone for the nunchuck stick itself (not the rolling or pitching) as the wiimote isn't sending any data if i don't press a button. Not sure about EnsureMapRange...as you correctly guessed i copy and pasted my script together from various sources...

Wiimote/Glovepie/Nunchuck - How to "deadzone"?
Can anyone tell me how to put some deadzone into the nunchuck? It works in the (second) debug line, i.e. centered stick always shows zero but my tries to use the deadzone function in the bottom two lines of the script failed. I've seen some scripts use variables but i'd like to keep it simple (i'm t...

Re: Live + 3rd party plugins = FAIL
Yes, that's true, but a bit restrictive no? So I can't put any tempo synced gates, LFOs or filters after my UAD stuff? I just bought the Vengeance Sidechain Compressor. It will sync to tempo, but if I put it after a bunch of UAD stuff - no good. And to be honest, I'm finding this whole thing confus...

Re: Live + 3rd party plugins = FAIL
just to be clear, audio gets compensated properly, so all your UAD EQs, compressors, limiters etc. run fine. It's only when eg host-synced LFOs, sequenced gates etc. come into play that you might run into trouble.

Re: Live + 3rd party plugins = FAIL
@housemusiclover: afaik it's not a recent bug, it has always be like that in live since pdc has been introduced, around V5 if i correctly remember. we should still scream BUG at the top of our lungs though - i've been planning to skip Live 9 and want it fixed in 8 (of course i had planned to skip 6...

i do! glad to have an excuse for not noticing this fail...ninox_rufa wrote:housemusiclover wrote:The only exception is if you produce very minimal tracks.

edit: anyone checked other Live versions than the latest? hopefully it's a bug introduced sometime and not a "feature"...
