Wasn't sure where to ask this question but is there anyway to limit the velocity in note mode to something like 100 instead of 127? I constantly have to lower the velocities for hits that I don't want full volume which is usually everything unless it's an intense pattern. Live's own velocity plugin...

basically what i want to know is if there is a way to customize what the midi cc number/channel is on a controller, specifically the bcr. Thank you of course there is, rtfm (of the bcr)! :wink: edit: you could also try to use different factory presets on the bcr. Maybe some don't come into conflict...

i think you need to send midi notes to the fx (acts as a gate)

Ok, problem found, you use a mac. Just kidding, wish i had one... Can't really help with mac though apart from the obvious: latest emu and gfx drivers, making sure no background programs suck all the cpu power away. What about bumping the buffer to 512 and using the cpu usage simulator inside Live? ...

i don't have these problems at all - would trade against my gui troubles though... :wink:
no glitches until about 92% cpu with all 4 cores evenly taxed. 8.1.5b2 pc win7-64

you guys should post more info: pc,mac,os,soundcard, etc.

You need to switch the driver type in the audio preferences.
You should also post a lot more info, starting with PC/MAC, OS, etc...

It wouldn't be Live 8 if it didn't crash all the time... Reboots sound like a driver problem though, check out the Windows event log, maybe there's a hint there. I only get "ordinary" crashes. freeze or bounce the collision audio and delete collision from your set

you should then probably be able to save any changes

get used to use "collect all and save" from the file menu

on the bright side, some of my tracks sounded better when samples were missing :lol:
