Re: disable little browser-preview?

thx, I know that, but live still loads the waveform which also makes browsing slower. When I hold down up/down arrow keys the selector hangs. That is the problem, especially with mp3s as live starts to decode them into wav before displaying the waveform in the preview-player.

disable little browser-preview?

Is there a way to disable the little browser-window under the browser? It gets very annoying that live starts to load the selected track waveform when you want to browse through your tunes while dj-ing. Makes browsing very slow and makes the load on harddisk unnecessary bigger. Maybe there is an opt...

Re: Feature Request: Clip Sequencer-ClipSlot

and then the Follow-actions come into play: then you could sequence the sequences.
And the clip sequencer should also be able to select the start of a clip in this sequence (if you need to do that), again to not have multiple clips only because you wanted to have a different start point.

Feature Request: Clip Sequencer-ClipSlot

Imagine this: right-click on a clip slot and choose "clip-sequencer": now you could say: play clip X 4 bars, clip y 2 bars, clip A 2 bars and so on. So every time you trigger this slot the clips are played as you programmed it in the slot-sequencer. Now you don't need to fiddle around with follow ac...

Re: Feature Request: Clip Sequencer-ClipSlot

thx for the hint. I remember that workaround now, but it would be nice if this would be neatly integrated in Live itself without any workarounds.

Feature Request: Clip Sequencer-ClipSlot

I had to post it here as more users watch this category: Imagine this: right-click on a clip slot and choose "clip-sequencer": now you could say: play clip X 4 bars, clip y 2 bars, clip A 2 bars and so on. Re: Automation in live, way more tedious than in most Daws

Ps: @abes: your users are going to other daw-forums and requesting stuff that live has (but not well implemented). BUT: the developers there say: keep on talking, we're listening. So prepare to loose a lot of users in some time :-). When have you said something like this. You keep ignoring us snce q...

Re: Automation in live, way more tedious than in most Daws

Well, for those who want better automation, take a look at presonus studio one: all kinds of curves, even lfo-like gridbased automation with a great transformation-tool. Also they listen to their customers very well, and there will surely be something lke session-view in future versions. I wonder wh...

Re: Are we ready for more prefference options?

i'd like more preferences. For example I'd like to hide the little preview-bar under the browser. It really gets in the way when you're Dj-ing and searching for tracks, it slows down the browsing as it loads every tune into this little preview-player. Although, I'm already Beatgridding my tunes caus...

I have not noticed any sound quality loss. Sounds the same as without jack.

Re: Soundcards With Internal Routing

you can use Jack 1.9.6. So you don't need to buy a new soundcard. With this you can route audio through every program on your mac/pc. For example you can record Live into antother instance of live or another daw like Cubase, Presonus Studio One,etc It's actually really cool. Now you can have more da...
