Re: poor API showcase?

outside of the control surfaces, the LOM has everything you need to know about the API, combined with the abstractions and the API maxpats (which were made to go in bpatchers for the most part) you have a comprehensive example of what the M4L API can do also, for the most part, working with the API ...

Re: Post your set up and your sexy cat...

I've been following this post for a good while now and find it very interesting. The 200 plus pages is mostly from people replying to the pictured posts. May I suggest that you not include the pics so the pages won't look so cluttered? Don't shoot me, it's only a suggestion. I feel you on...

Re: poor API showcase?

Re: Lemur + Max4Live + Mu = the ultimate Live controller?

Jazzmutant team says: We are working on implementing VST/AudioUnits support. It should follow the same system of .jzlib/.maxpat as the native Ableton effects. OK, that's important info, thanks! Easy to setup VST/AU support is absolutely crucial for me. Has anything been said about the pricing of Mu?...

Re: Lemur + Max4Live + Mu = the ultimate Live controller?

actually hooking up a foot pedal board to your computer you would be able to send that to the lemur via max/m4l and control things that way also what im more excited about than mu itself is whats inside lemurloader max external you can use program changes, notes, CC#s, what ever from what ever to dy...

loop_jump observer bangs when the playhead crosses loop start, using a counter you could have it turn the loop off when the count == x

Re: device parameter units? appointed device listener?

So, for anyone curious, there is a way to get the unit types as well as all the parameter values for a given device by using "live_set tracks n devices n" and then calling "get parameters". This would have saved me so much time lol. Good to know, though. for some reason i thought you had tried this...

Re: n00bish question!

Just a detail, within MSP its recommended to use *~ over /~ because the division process is more resource hungry than the amplifier. Dunno if you'll actually notice this in smaller patches but I'd figure I'd mention it anyway, its usually better to pick up the recommended habits from the start.. th...

Re: n00bish question!

adding 1 then multiplying gives you an output range of 0 - 4

so [/~ 2] [-~ 1] and then the range will be back to -1 - 1

Re: unaswered question.

thanx for the answer, but in low end audio interface i didn't mean soundblaster or any multimedia soundcard i meant low end like emu0404 or m-audio fast track for exemple. i realized, but the fact that you would never use a multimedia soundcard means that you believe there is a difference people can...

Re: unaswered question.

there are going to be a lot of opinions on this subject, but if you are going out and spend 2500 dollars on monitors and use it with your soundblaster its just going to reveal how bad your sound card is good monitors dont sound like the music is supposed to, they sound how it is, so its not like any...
