you can also put battery in the group track filled with midi tracks and set all the tracks midi to group

also you can grab the entire bass track in session view and drag it into the browser and save it where ever you want then pull the als back into the new session

1/2. some sort of sound card is going to need to sit between the djm 800 and your computer, its going to need at least 8 outs on it in some combination, the djm has 4 digital ins but i dont know of a soundcard that has 4 separate digital outs 3. i have a lemur, i love it, and yes it connects through...

im assuming your bass compression is side chained to your kick drum

if thats true then just keep messing with your compression until they separate and dont clash

thats kind of the whole point of sidechaining

if the other computer is also a mac, connect both both computers via an thernet or fierwire cable. establish a network connection. and choose the network synchronisation through the audio midi app in osx. choose the connection within live for sync. done. he said that he is receiving ext sync signal...
