im sure you have a guitar amp with a pre amp out (effects loop will also work) run that to your input

you will get a lot better tone out of that set up

the reason it does it with a mouse click is once its assigned any action sends on the same control for example, assign 2 knob on a macro to the same cc number and when you turn one using the mouse both knobs still turn because they have been linked yeah it usually gives you less problems using cc nu...

you might be sending note data to a drum rack or synth when you hit a pad

why dont you want to pull the fades all the way back each way? wouldnt that create a more even flow between the 2 chains? and also keep levels even throughout the turn of the knob? if you create 2 dry chains just for testing sake and fade them like you are in the video at 50% on the knob you will ge...

depends on the foot controller you buy if it is a usb controller then no, straight to the laptop if it only has midi out then you will need to connect it too your interface chances are the one you will get has a usb port and the mixer isnt needed but i would suggest getting some kind of fader/knob c...

make a midi effect rack

then make a new chain for each drum sample and name the chain for the sample it is

then go into key and make the chain for the note that is the trigger in battery or what ever

then right click/command click on the chains and select show names in midi editor

it sounds like you are creating a midi feedback loop

also use CCs and you might get more success/flexibility

try creating a new project with only one dummy clip and one action

play around with mapping it

everything should work
