I agree man, it's just exciting to see it grow. They've proven that they actually listen to us, which is awesome.

Re: Using Live seventy percent less

besides what i mentioned earlier, i really believe that there is a certain amount of attitude attached... (i personally like that, if someone can allow himself to have balls) that the plugin support is OK< but as NI (i mean i would!!!) you want to purposely keep some things the way so it pushes you...

Re: Maschine sequencing VSTS in Live (video)

I think by template he meant modes but it's all good. It works for some and others don't like it, no big :) Just like everyone doesn't use all the key commands in a daw, it just depends on how you like to work. Another thing when using Maschine as a plugin, getting multiple midi channels out of the ...

Re: Using Live seventy percent less

what is the big deal to start stop via control mode? i don't get that gripe, if you are a maschine user then i think the switch between the maschine and control mode becomes so easy and quick a second nature i don't even think about at all anymore... it is an automatic reflex that takes less then a...

Re: Using Live seventy percent less

How reliable is it on a Mac compared to say Live 8.1.3? never had a crash myself, not once. and to the others, how can you possibly expect to dominate a host when used as a plugin  , oh my gawd, how stoopid is already that thought. if you think that way then i don't want to imagine you...

Maschine sequencing VSTS in Live (video)

I know quite a few folks around here use Maschine and Live together and many may not like how Maschine works as a plugin. I know for myself, I hate that you can't control the start/stop of Maschine when it's a plugin, this small feature is a huge part of how I work on building up drums/grooves and p...

Re: Using Live seventy percent less

just a question for maschine users (i have maschine since a few month but rarely use it - obviously the "magic" didn´t catch me up to now). when i have maschine opened in live as a plugin, why can´t i start/stop live from the maschine? ok, i could set in on midi-remote... but this is not what i wan...

Re: Multiple Outs from a VST Instrument

cool I'm going to check it out then. I think I know how to do it, I started doing it the other day but wondered if there was an easier way.

The thing I was missing was the "external instrument" device, that will make things much easier.

auto arm a track when dragging plugin/device to it?

I know I used to be able to drag a vst to a track, and it would automatically arm it, but it's not working anymore.

Is there somewhere to turn this on/off that I may have hit by accident? lol.

Re: Live 8: Saving Group Tracks

OH man! I was looking for this feature, too bad I use live 7 :( I spent a few hours this past weekend trying to figure out the best way to setup my multitimbral plugins, regular midi tracks were wack because I couldn't do audio with them. I wanted audio/midi on same track. I wanted to save a templat...

Midi map track volume for audio OR midi tracks?

I'm trying to get my controller to map for volume. Problem is if I set it up on an audio track, it only works with audio tracks. If I set it up for midi tracks, it only works with midi tracks. Is there something I can do to get it to work with ANY type of track that's in that slot? Say I want to jus...
