Yeh eisnein, good point about scrolling thru scenes. When I first started using the FCB, I couldn't get a good handle on the physical pedals and I skipped a couple of scenes onstage........ plus you have to use two pedals to play a scene (one for select and another for play) and sometimes the...

Everytime I try to program the FCB1010 I get a message asking me if I want to override my previous midi assignment. I want to set up each bank of 10 pedals to trigger a different slot in session view. For instance, I want to trigger the first 10 slots in bank 00 from pedal 1-10. Then I want to be a...

Loophead, Yes, I also do stuff in 4.1 - sound design for theatre. I found that the center channel was next to useless in theatre situations. I haven't done any mixing in 5.1 for film where the dialog gets used a lot in the centre channel, however. 4.1 for me has basically been quad with an LFE for e...

One workaround is to rewire Live through Cubase/Logic/whatever and use the surround panning in that application. Obviously would be great if 5.1 gets implemented in Live 6.

I would imagine you'll head for Florianopolis in Santa Catarina if you are heading south and wanna do a coastal thing. Fairly hip and active zone - less busy now (better) now that carnaval is over. Nice city, lots of beaches - and babes. Unless you really want to see the falls and don't mind a very ...

Its nice to hear of people using 5 at home and 4 on stage as thats exactly what i've been thinking of doing. Thanks gentlemen for helping me make up my mind :) I do all my shows with Live 4. And since I don't want to spend time moving stuff around, I produce anything related to live performances in...

Thanks Adam,

Still not sure what they are as I haven't seen them.

But if they are big, they won't suit me because my room here is very small.
I have enough low end probs as it is!

Cheers.

Thanks for the replies..... Uh, well actually it is these SGM's I need to know about. They suck? Never listened to Reveals, but some of the most musical monitors I have heard have been Tannoys. Particularly some enormous 15inch muthas in a pals studio, and then some rare powered units that I believe...

Like freshdrumma said, you have to activate the various outputs that should be available to you in the prefs window. But if your ASIO drivers aren't getting recognised by Live, there is a problem there - and that's probably why LIve isnt seeing the outputs. maybe you need to re-install the FW410 dri...
