Re: APC40 TIPS --- Share Your Brainz!

He is using Bomes to capture input and then send it back as key commands etc... and then sending midi data to the APC to light it up as he wants. The "mode" is \him turning on/off various translators in Bomes. That's what I was thinking. I'm gonna try that. Semi New to Bome's Edit: 1)I can map the ...

Re: Tricks with the APC40

True, did however try out the MLR hack and Muon hack and its very cool but more fun to do it in Live. At the moment I've been making lots of Random triggering clips and watching the pretty lights and using random and scale midi effects on operator for some nice sine wave music. Its also mildly amus...

Re: Beatmatching in live (not warping)

I used to do this... and i know you can do it better then I did it... You can adjust the start point of a clip to line it up with the other.... after warping... and you should be able to midi map the start point. This is not what you want because they'd still need to be at least warped to reflect t...

Re: Automate Transpose for a clip?

I´ve been trying to automate the transpose settings for a clip to make a kind of melody, but I can´t seem to get it to work. Is this even possible? I´m able to midimap it and automate it when playing the clip back, but I can´t record it The clip is a rhythmic monotone synth, so if I use Simpler/Sam...

I've done that. It's fun. Wish I could just toggle and flip the grid sideways so I could scroll up and down through scenes.

So you are using dummy clips in gate mode by way of Bome's? How much processor does Bome's use?

On my white macbook with AKAI Edition of LIVE my clip launch and stop clips do not light up. On my black mac book with LIVE 7 everything lights up.

Re: Creating breaks in realtime during live looping - How?

Try using a beat repeat on your master channel. That helps me create fills and turnarounds live. Also, some dummy clips might help. Also, a midi pedal that you can trigger with your feet to free your hands helps.
