Yeah still on a 3.2 ghz p4 here with Hyperthreading off. I can push it pretty hard, even under 4ms latency. Djing should be fine -- just test it out with all the effects/tracks you plan to use.

I have live 6.0.1 can any kind soul explain me concisely the different use of these instruments? the only one I use (and a lot!) is Impulse... but even when I plug a midi keyboard most of the time a use a keyboard VST ... can someone tell me in 2 words what they are meant to be for? thanks Fede Wer...

still agree w/ some posters that the real solution for props is to allow a subset of reason to be accessed as a vst/vsti. In other words give me the combinator/subtractor/maelstrom/ etc all the devices -- that just run as a virtual "rack". Then you don't need rewire -- just fire up vsti/load a combi...

I wish I was a black American in the 70s. :( you've got to be kidding for all the funky breaks and sharp suits I think there was a some serious downside to being black and american in the 70's I don't think that was what was meant. Who wouldn't sell their left nut to be on that stage w/ those guys....

yeah it's almost as weird as the idea that a God begat a son in a virgin woman with the plan of having the son executed through a slow painful death in order to pay for the sins of men -- the greatest of which was caused by a woman who was talked into eating an apple from a snake. A snake inhabited ...

Confirmed -- I'm on winxp/live 6 as well and there is no triangle to expose vst parameters. I checked live 5.2.2 and it doesn't expose them either. Could it be an Atmosphere issue?

in the box underneath where you routed to track 3, you need to choose a specific RMX input (1-8) instead of having it as "track in".

have you tried switching from slice mode to loop mode? It's on the bottom right of the instrument when you are in loop browser (maybe on every page). Its sounds like it's just playing a sound from a slice rather than triggering the whole loop

OH I misunderstood one one point: the 'plugin' buffer versus the overall sample buffer size. It's CRAZY that the plugin buffer has to be 2048 for Neon! I know it's CPU intensive, but now you have to have a 2,048 sample buffer for EVERY plugin. In live I have mine set the same as sample buffer (curre...

for the record, my "issue" isn't with itunes. they are who they are and they do what they do (i.e sell ippods). what i don't like is that if the wmc is to "represent" our industry than why aren't they? why is the wmc so willing to take our money but yet the support goes to someone like itunes? the ...

Slow down there -- I don't know about the methodology used. What do we mean by the USB card and the Firewire card having similar "speeds"?? They are completely different hardware. I'm confused there. Is the MINI-Dac USB 2 or 1? Do you have the correct firewire chipset running the MOTU. So first thin...

While I would love to see better dance music on ITunes, I DO have to say that they have a TON of quality content, obscure albums, classic comedy albums, etc. I was disappointed when I couldn't find Outside The Reactor Vol 1 ANYWHERE but eMusic.com (check them out!) and Amazon.com. But doing a search...

Download the tutorial videos on spectrasonics web site. They are all really good, and there's one specifically for Live: How to use multiple outputs, etc.
