Re: Rob Papen Blue

cool mate, thanks for the heads up! ;)

it mentions about rnb/hip hop etc as the plugs use but in your view, you think its just as good for trance/proggy music?

I love working with bass and trying mad shit out, why this looks good buy.

Re: Is modern electronic music mastered to your taste

In trance music which is my field, compression is simply now in overkill, stick a vintage warmer on the master and alot of producers say track is mastered and loud, but hey for club probably is, after all most fx i like to across the stereo field arent good in clubs with the mono field, so im fairly...

Re: Beatmatching in live (not warping)

lol...I thought the same as the above tbh too, of cours if you like the challenge, why not right?.

but after spending 4 years with vinyl matching, im quite happy to be digital now and not have to worry about beatmatching every 30 secs, but wont do any harm to learn the old ways suppose :)

Re: A Little Sidechain Question...

Thanks for reply ;) I know maybe its a big ask tbh, i'm going to have ago tonight at that and see if theres someway but its not all bad because if you happy with the recorded midi clip one option is to mute the drum which will still trigger the compression on the linked track and then bounce linked ...

Re: Rob Papen Blue

I used to use Blue a lot.... I liked it - particularly for sequenced FM percussion sounds/glitchy stuff.... the FX section is also cool - some handy things like Wah+Delay.... After a while, I found that I wasn't really using it any more, so I sold it. I found I was using it as an FM synth and when ...
