Re: A soundcard with no issues at all ?

Motu, stable drivers ? honestly the worst experience i've had. i owned a M-audio FW410, a Presonus FP 10, a focusrite Saffire Pro 40 and a RME UCX which all were much more reliable than the Motu 828x, or the Motu Microlite (Midi interface, buggy as hell). haha :D Maby i should concider the Fo...

Re: A soundcard with no issues at all ?

You shouldn't be using sleep mdoe with audio interfaces, it's always a problem. My Komplete Audio 6 works perfectly even after sleep with my 2011 MBP! I'm considering to change it to a used Motu 828 mk3 or a new Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 for more i/o though.. Haven't decided which one yet. According...

Re: New Korg Electribe

If the sampling has been improved from the previous models i might get the sampler instead of the octatrack.. The synth one is a must buy.. :P

Still waiting for more in depth demos though.. Korg please send those to Nick Batt for review! :D

Re: Lexicon MX300/MX400

Does anybody know if there is any difference in the sound/effect quality between the mx200 and the mx300? I can't find any information about this from the internet. Except one post telling mx300/400 has better DSPs and better effects, but is this really true? The mx200 seems to have more intuitive u...

Re: Update LIVE 9 for RETINA !!!

It looks like Apple has finally ditched non-Retina MacBook Pros when the 2013 Haswell MBPs came out, and Ableton is nowhere to acknowledge that. Come on, it's about time! This! I need a new laptop and now i feel like i have to decide on switching to Logic or buying a PC.. and to be honest.. I don't...

Fits everything i need + some more. Comes with a instant hipster status though.. It also has the sidepockets that can h...

Re: giving some old tracks the kiss of life

I would just render all the mixer channels to separate audio tracks (assuming, you can do that in Reason.) and just play with them in Live.

brotip: Search youtube for some Tom Cosm glitching tutorials for ultimate audio manglery. ;)

Re: SSD users: Anyone upgrade and clone their prior HD?

I used Super Duper to clone my HDD to SSD. Super simple and everything worked fine after the SSD install. Even the windows that were open stayed that way :D so Super Duper is only for MAc? It seems so. With PC i would propably use dd on Ubuntu live CD to do the same. More of a hustle but that what ...
