Re: L10 multi MIDI: Can you transpose notes from multiple clips?

Just got the beta too. Max devices load very fast, so Isotonik's editor is recommended. Suggestion for the native multi clip editing: I wish we could hold ctrl or alt to make selections apply to both foreground and background clips. That would make it would be perfect for my needs. Relevant Live 10 ...

Re: L10 multi MIDI: Can you transpose notes from multiple clips?

Ah, that's the one thing I really needed multi MIDI for.

Since Max patches apparently load fast enough now, it sounds like Isotonik's editor is the way to go for me: https://isotonikstudios.com/product/mid ... ip-editor/

L10 multi MIDI: Can you transpose notes from multiple clips?

All the Live 10 videos I've seen only show jumping between clips. I'm interested in editing multiple clips simultaneously. Let's say I have a bass track and a chord track, and I want to transpose one bar of the progression. Can I select notes from both clips and transpose them in one action? If not,...

Good idea! And time signature if it's something other than 4/4.

Re: Ableton Live UI survey SECOND EDITION

Hi! I'm not a designer, but I hope my feedback helps. Good: I see some very nice ideas for implementations: - Clips: waveform, info and playbar indicator (instead of pie at the bottom of the track, like we have now) - Customizable header with useful settings - Mixer view with inline EQ and selectabl...

Re: ABLETON forum admin - please read

Are you asking for an upload/attach file button? I agree, that would be very nice to have. Here's how to do it for now, for those who don't know: Posting an image: 1. Upload to http://imgur.com/ or elsewhere 2. Post this (remove underscores): [img_]http://i.imgur.com/yourimage.jpg[/img_] Posting aud...

Re: How do you change the midi editor (resolved)

^ Yes. Only works in arrangement view.

If you're in session view, you can click in the piano roll, and quick jump between MIDI notes (or chords) with the up/down arrow keys.

Re: Ableton needs a "Tracker View"

Most people here probably don't know what trackers are. What are their advantages for you? Why would people want to use something that looks like Excel from the future? I know some guys who use Renoise, and I'm really impressed by its feature set. I just didn't like the lack of visual differentiatio...

You can change the swing amount on the arpeggiator by adjusting the global amount in the groove pool!

Re: I want a little "ting" sound when render is done

If you're on Windows, you can try this small program I made (2.94 MB, .exe): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/753645/watch.zip Place it in the same folder as your .wav file will end up in. Below is the Ruby source code for those who want to change the sound: Windows: https://gist.github.com/Krist...

Re: Ableton 10 suggestions

I'm really very happy with Live 9. I only feel limited when I get more complex ideas going, need to change chords, and I can't view multiple MIDI clips at once. Isotonik's solution takes away some of the pain, but I'd much rather have a native implementation. Also, the pitch bend bug just makes me w...

Re: Producers, Name your Problems with making beats

Hey no offense, I get that you want to help, but if you don't have a clue as to what the problem would be for people making music, then why do you think people should invest money (kickstarter) and time (coming up for reasons for you) into your possibly profitable venture getting people who want to...
