Set a Midi pitch device on the pads you want Kontakt to play a drum. next an External Instrument, select Battery in it's Midi To menu. rex-wav and disc space

I just observed that rex files get copied as wav files in the decoding cache on your drive. now I have them double as a copy? what's the point? I guess just converting the rex files to wav and then deleting them would be more useful. and if there was an app for that.

A more user-friendly option would have been a 1-button "import" dialog.
Why not just drag them over in explorer?

No, the left/right side and top/bottom buttons on the LP Pro are CCs, which I would assume he'd use for switching, so he can use the grid for triggering the samples. This is different from the LP-S and the original LP (and I assume the mini, which I don't own) well I'd just use the bottom row of th...

Re: Chain selectors

If someone shows up, who knows not to piss on people he/she needs help off, I will certainly give a detailed run down of how to use clyphx to use 5 buttons to jump to 5 different values of the same parameter. :D On Push and any MIDI keyboard (and probably launchpad too) you don't need ClyphX. Just ...

Re: External Instrument / Drum Rack

well, you are not restricted to a one bar loop while recording. record each part for ten minutes while tweaking it's parameters on the volca. then cut and match the parts you like.
