Re: Fl studio performance mode with apc 40/LP

Yeah i'm not an FL user. Just thought it looked like a decent performance option. I wish that reason had implemented something like this when they put blocks in.

Everyone chasing the ableton workflow

Re: bitwig price $470 (360 euro)

It's a standard marketing technique. Price high at first, sell as much as you can at that price and then start offering various "unmissable" special offers, cheap cross grades, etc - to make people feel like they are getting a real bargain. That's what I'm thinking. Same thing that ableton has been...

Re: bitwig price biggest joke ever (360 euro)

Joke is probably a bad way to put it. For a company with low overhead (8 employees and a start up grant), who have made a product that is very similar to live with some improvements (they even are going to have a suite version), one would think that they would under cut their competition and not tak...

Re: bitwig price biggest joke ever (360 euro)

If you look at the pics you can see that they have mini sampler labeled. That leads me to believe that there is a full sampler for sale. Maybe not.

bitwig price $470 (360 euro)

http://www.dv247.com/computer-music-software/bitwig-studio-music-production-and-performance-software--93544 About $470 US Edit: I take back that it is a joke. I was just shocked at the price posted. It has been written by an "employee" of the website on another forum that this is just a guess and wi...

Re: Awesome drummer using Live...

at hendrick look into expanding with footpedals. the kmi softstep is a great add on for the kit, and it will really open up your left foot. never get rid of the timbales. The problem is that I do the MPO (lang's phrase) so it makes things real complicated. on left side I got a gadjet (lp), hit hat,...

Re: Awesome drummer using Live...

Great minds think alike. I love to see more musicians using live. The problem I have is that I have such little room with timables and congas around my kit (even when I drop down to a 4 piece) that I need to find someway to suspend these midi controllers off boom stands or something clever). I hate ...

Re: axiom pro hypercontrol setup Q's

I'm not in front of the setup at the moment but Do you have both hyper in and out selected under control surface and then I be sure to select the boxes below the control surface. I can't remember since it's been so long since I looked but I think there is an A and B. Once is for the knobs, faders, p...

Re: axiom pro hypercontrol setup Q's

be sure your on a recent version of live 8. Live does not need hypercontrol drivers to install separate like reason. All I can suggest is the normal stuff. Have you tried other usb ports. With reason 5 and 6 vertain ports on my laptop would not work right. Make sure usb cable is working. Sometimes I...

Re: There will be no v9.0

In the email they sent out they are looking for tons of different people to fill jobs.

The one I found interesting was that they were looking to help with linux. Looks like they might be doing a bit of copying themselves.

Re: half baked ableton live 9 or willing to wait?

I'll take half baked. As long as there's 64 bit in it. I'll take that any time. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but can't imagine that Ableton would make the same mistake that they made with live 8. I'm guessing that you don't perform live. Some of us need this thing to be rock solid so we ca...

Re: ableton orchestral essentials

If this is the new trend for the Ableton Library, then I am disapoint. To say the least. Yes, I see the list above that somebody got from ProjectSAM themselves; but I'm saddened that Ableton are pulling the "sell it for a hundred bucks and tell them nothing about it" approach in their store. Just a...
