Re: Live 8 / Live 7 CPU usage comparison

As far as just using live for backing tracks to practice at home, or simply to produce stuff at home it does not really matter that live can get intense on the CPU with kontakt. The only issues is playing live. I want to be able to perform stuff on the fly, not have prerecorded clips and twist some ...

Re: 8.2.8 - the final step?

I'm a bit surprised because I had several crash with the last beta yesterday, reports and crashlogs sent. That was a pure Audio Engine Crash . So understand my doubts here well well well to be continued Downloading final 8.2.8 and testing this weekend. They will receive my mails on monday...we'll s...

“It just proves we need to learn not to profile people. Because, actually, most of the world hates us.”

Seems fitting after that comment. Travel sometime. I'd rather have my gear setup their then many MANY places in the states.

Re: Bitwig unofficial forum

Most of the conversation here has run it;s course. Trying to help jump start that forum. I'm guessing it's going to become a ableton vs bitwig place but maybe it will not.

Either way I'm betting on a beta by the end of next weekend. just a guess

Re: bridge crashing, doesn't seem to function correctly

Head to the Serato forum and you'll get more feed back. Not really many bridge users on this board. They don't even have a sub forum (which is odd to me). There is such a high cost to get to use the bridge that many folks might not be able to us it. The way traktor is heading they might be the best ...

Re: Poll: Who is sticking around and who is moving on?

I have a lot invested in Live right now, so the idea of moving platforms is not at ALL appealing to me. That's how avid gets ya for life! I do agree that with time and other controllers (the bridge) makes it very hard to get away from Live. That being said I'm not going to stick around if there is ...

Nice job. I've seen a reaktor patch that is similar but each row is not independent like what you have setup

The new lemur?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=vmZXyQqTP_8 Maybe i'm missing something but aren't these guys a little late to the game. If lemur could not make a go of it and they already had a reputation not sure how they are going to do it. I don't know how they think they are going to dem...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...

Constant stream of positive feedback on their FB is filling developers hearts with love. There will be mating and dating-phase before Beta. unlike ableton users on this forum to live lol  If Bitwig don't moderate their forum more harshly then I give it a year til it's full of people complainin...

Thanks. There's nothing on Waves' own website. Edit: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9464160/NAMM%202012/WavesV9.jpg Finally I can get rid off my iLok. Hurrah! Nice! I've been thinking of buying either the silver or gold starter bundles of waves pluggins, but was put off by the ilok (i already have 2 dongl...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...

Let's see about Bitwig when the beta is out. But let me say again: external audio editor integration and Rewire are both absolute essential as far as I am concerned.... The more I think about it the more I just simply take for granted all the stuff in live. I just know that when I get a hold of the...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...

Maybe a bad way to enter in for not having post before but here's what I have to ask. Why do people keep saying things like competition is a good and much needed thing? Historically the best movements have come from someone doing something different not copying or cloning. Very simple. Since you ju...
