Re: Buzz in one of two pickups

I found this article useful

http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/aug06/a ... h_0806.htm

Guitar pickups are designed to pickup, so they pickup all sorts of unwanted noises. buzz doesn't necessarily come from the pickup itself. This article helps you to track down the source of the buzz.

Re: hardware midi problem

I suggest that you refine your question (WTF?). Why do you say "its too much data at a time" or "when I send both mdi CC it's wrong...". What do you mean by wrong? As things stand no one can help you because you are not asking a coherent question.

Re: 99 new operator patches

The link gave me a 404 error, but I found my way to your site which has presets for Live 9 Operator and Live 8 Operator. I presume that the Live 9 ones don't work with Live 8. Can anyone tell me why not?

I have the Etymotic 4ps. They sound great but always seemed to lack bass until I bought a portable headphone amp.

Re: What does a stone sound like?

It's not that difficult, in my opinion. Maybe I cannot express the concept in the right english terms, because when I use the word "code" I mean "universal essence" (not in a mystic perspective, but "ontologic", like e.g. mathematic, language etc.). Music can be thought (because music is not in the...

Re: What does a stone sound like?

myrnova, just one point. This whole thread started when stringtapper, over in another thread, wanted to talk about a set of musical ideas that come from Germany and France. You derailed that thread, and when people disagreed with you, you said that stringtapper's ideas were American. Which they dem...

Re: RECOGNIZING the Behringer FCB1010 w/Windows USB Alesis iO4

I don't think Live will "recognize" the FCB, but it will receive MIDI messages from it if you connect it to your MIDI interface and press the switches. Do you see the Live MIDI receive LED lighting up when you press a switch?

Re: How to understand where the problem is

This is the age-old debugging question. Where is the problem? One of the basic premises of debugging is to assume its is your fault, not a bug in the hardware or operating system or programming environment. So, its probably not a bug in Max or Live. So how to find the cause? A basic strategy is to t...

Yes, you do seem to be some distance "off base". Your cost might be in Bhutan dollars perhaps?

Please explain. Is it not possible to browse and search anywhere on the hard disk in Live 9?
